COOPER THEATRE

Come and enjoy the newest movies (example-Dear John  was shown in Cooperstown the same week the opening was held in the big cities across America) at the extensively remodeled Cooper Theatre. Some of the remodeling includes: projector, sound system, seats, wiring, new furnace, bathrooms, store front, new shingles, etc.

Movies are generally shown on Saturday & Sunday evenings at 8 PM summer time and 7 PM during winter. Current movies, dates and time are shown on Cooperstown web page under calendar of events.

The Cooper Theatre has been operated by various local families on a volunteer basis since the early 1970’s.

Open for business April through October.

Cooperstown Country Club is an excellent nine-hole grass greens golf course located on the northwest edge of Cooperstown. The course has evergreen lined fairways which have a gradual roll, producing elevation changes. A nicely manicured, irrigated course and greens, with paved cart paths and yardage markers, make this 9 hole course a pleasure to walk or use a rental powered cart.

The clubhouse is available year-round for rent for individual, corporate and charitable activities. Pro shop, food and beverages are available in the clubhouse.
